The Wii console comes with a wireless Wii remote (and Nunchucks) and a Sensor Bar which is used to determine the remote’s position in 3-D space via accelerometers and infrared detection. Development of this technology has also led to accessories such as the Wii Fit Balance Board. Bluetooth technology is utilised for Wii remote connection and vibration and speakers in the remote enhance play. The Wii contains 512mb of internal flash memory and an upgradeable SD card can be inserted in the SD card slot. A drawback, the Wii cannot be used as a home media centre like the Xbox 360 or PS3 and does not play DVDs.Service Note
